Education is one of the most valuable assets of a country's economy and society. A good educational method always leads to great long-term projects. The results of a good education system are, for example, remarkable results in the HDI (Human Development Index) rankings as well as low crime rates. Therefore, the result of a robust education system, from early childhood education to university degrees, is a society with great potential whose ceiling does not seem to exist.

While Spain tops the education rankings, Morocco also wants to be at the top, hand in hand with its partners in Madrid. As a start to a relationship that already affects the economy, immigration and trade, education is the next target in the sights of both countries. To this end, 210 study grants for access to higher education will be promoted by Planeta Formación y Universidades and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco. With the application period from 12 June to 13 August, both organisations are now announcing a programme with 210 study grants.

The 146 programmes that Planeta Formación y Universidades offers through its institutions, which are divided into 12 areas of knowledge, and which will be taught using different methodologies (face-to-face, blended and online), will be available to Moroccan students in Spain who receive these study grants. These programmes are divided into 12 areas of knowledge.) They will also be able to enrol in postgraduate studies (93 places) and lifelong learning (71 places), as well as in higher level training courses (Vocational Training), which will have 24 places, intermediate level training courses (Vocational Training), which will have 6 places, undergraduate studies, which will have 14 places, and doctoral studies, which will have 2 places.

EAE Business School (on the Madrid and Barcelona campuses), Barcelona Culinary Hub, Iberonex, iFP Innovation in Professional Training, INESDI Business Techschool, OBS Business School, BIU Broward International University, The Core School, UNIE University and International University of Valencia VIU are the institutions and universities of Planeta Formación in charge of the training programmes that are the object of the agreement.

The subjects of the programmes include specialised studies in the arts and humanities, audiovisual, science and technology, health sciences, education, business, finance, legal, marketing and communication, operations and project management, human resources, tourism and gastronomy. Three different types of study grants are included in the collaboration between the parties, ranging from those covering 100% of the training to the second type, which covers 75% of the studies, and the third type, which covers 50% of the studies.

The 210 study grants to be distributed by Planeta Formación and Universidades are the result of an initiative promoted by the higher education network and the Moroccan Embassy, whose ambassador Karima Benyaich declares that "it is a great opportunity for educational collaboration to have the tools of Planeta Formación and Universidades to promote the talent of our students, so that they can see their possibilities of a successful working future increase".

With this initiative, Planeta Formación y Universidades undertakes to provide these grants to Moroccan students who have lived permanently or for a long period of time in our country and who stand out for their academic excellence, with their overall record being the main selection criterion.

The implementation of these training tools is a good example of our dedication to this objective, and we hope to help motivate those Moroccan students with the best records who have permanent or prolonged residence in Spain to continue their education and training in order to develop a professional career in the future".
