Morocco wins "Best Stand Design" award at the FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair

The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has won the award for "best stand" at the Madrid International Tourism Fair (Fitur), the first world tourism event of the year, held from January 24 to 28.

It's hard to stand out from the crowd when you're one of the 2,800 exhibitors, but the Moroccan National Tourist Office has been awarded Best Stand Design for its authentic and avant-garde representation, between modern and traditional with color and appeal. 

The booth also showcased a variety of Moroccan-specific items. 

The stand stood out for the excellence of the craftsmanship, the richness of the culture and the diversity of the natural landscapes". 

In addition, for the generosity and Moroccan hospitality, offering all visitors mint tea and Moroccan sweets.

This award gives Morocco a new impetus and reinforces its new commercial and promotional strategy in the Spanish market, a very important market with great ambitions.

This recognition rewards the efforts of the office, which has recently presented its new Morocco pavilion concept, with a modern and inspiring design, which highlights the authentic and open positioning on the world of Morocco destination, through its cultural heritage and its continuity in innovative deployment of the brand "Morocco - Land of Light".

This new stand design deployed at all tourism fairs around the world, spread over an area of more than 700m2, includes spaces dedicated to the two regions.

The ONMT has closed several agreements with leading tour operators.

The pavilion was attended by the main players of Moroccan tourism (DMC, hotel chains, and Regional Tourism Councils). As well as the National Airline Royal Air Maroc.
