The Princess of Girona Foundation's Talent Tour will tour five Spanish cities

The Talent Tour 2024 will focus on centennials and their main concerns. The third edition of this annual travelling event organised by the Princess of Girona Foundation, with TRIVU as a strategic partner, will offer more than 250 activities for young people.
The programme will revolve around five main areas of content: employability and entrepreneurship; physical health; emotional health; purpose and social impact; and sustainability. The Talent 2024 Tour will kick off in Lleida (22-26 January) and will also pass through Salamanca (19-23 February); Cádiz (18-22 March); Santander (22-26 April) and Madrid (8-9 May).
One of the main novelties of this edition will be the Princess of Girona Congress - Always with young people, which will open all the stops of the Talent Tour. This congress will offer a morning of inspiring conferences, training activities, debates and musical performances with the aim of inspiring and developing the potential of young people. At the central event of the Congress in each city, the winner of one of the categories of the Princess of Girona Awards will also be announced. The "CreaEmpresa" category will be announced in Lleida; the Princess of Girona Award for "Art", in Salamanca.
"Art", in Salamanca; "Social" in Cádiz; "Research" in Santander and the double category of the International Award - CreaEmpresa and Research - will be announced in Madrid, where the event will stop for the first time.
The Director General of the Princess of Girona Foundation, Salvador Tasqué, emphasises "the excitement with which we are approaching this third edition of the Talent Tour, full of new content and innovative formats and where, for example, we will be launching the Princess of Girona Congress, which will be present at all the stops, with inspiring talks, workshops and debates that will promote the development of talent in each city, making the young person the real protagonist".

Social agenda
Another new feature of this year's edition will be a greater emphasis on the social agenda, an area in which the Foundation wants to be more present. The aim is to publicise and highlight organisations and entities in each of the cities where the Tour takes place and which are aligned with the Foundation's own values (social impact, sustainability, equal opportunities, well-being and culture).
As in the previous edition, AmplificARTE, a project promoted by the Princess of Girona Foundation and the Latin music label Art House Academy, will play a prominent role in the 2024 Talent Tour. This initiative brings together music and education with the aim of working on the development of skills, emotional well-being and education in values of young people in the classroom and other educational contexts.
More than 20,000 young people attended the educational activities of the Tour del Talento in its last edition, which also offered more than 250 activities in its different stops. The 2024 Tour will offer a wide-ranging programme at each of its stops, involving the entire local ecosystem and educational centres which, among other things, will participate in sports competitions and inspirational sessions. In addition, a Talent Forum (with APD - Asoc. para el Progreso de la Dirección) will be organised for young people who want to boost their professional careers and an Educational Forum for the educational community.
Princess of Girona International Awards 2024
The Talent Tour from 2024 onwards will build bridges with Latin America. For the first time, the International Princess of Girona Award will be aimed exclusively at Latin American candidates and will change from a single category to a double category: Research and CreaEmpresa. Another new feature of this year's edition will be that the Tour will end in Madrid for the first time. The city will host a two-day event (8 and 9 May) focusing on young talent and the internationalisation of the Foundation. The aim is to make Madrid a fixed stop for future editions of the Talent Tour in order to give visibility to the International Award.

Host cities
The Talent Tour is an initiative of the Princess of Girona Foundation and has TRIVU as a strategic ally. It also has the involvement of public administrations and allied companies.
The cities that host the Tour play a leading role in the organisation of the event by programming their own activities, contributing to the dissemination of the project and offering spaces to organise the different activities. When choosing the cities that host the Talent Tour, the Princess of Girona Foundation takes into account different parameters, such as the support of the administrations, their university population and their experience in organising events.
For its part, with this Tour model based on the concurrence of candidate cities for the project, the Foundation's host city, Girona, will from now on have its own agenda of activities throughout the year and a series of "Talent sessions" during the first months of 2024. Since last year, Girona has also been hosting a major conference on "Educational Innovation", during which the Princess of Girona School of the Year Award is announced.
