Walid Regragui visits Real Madrid in Rabat

Morocco coach Walid Regragui attended Real Madrid's training session ahead of the Club World Cup semi-final between Real Madrid and Egyptian side Al-Ahly in Morocco.
Regragui attended Real Madrid's training session at the Mohammed VI Sports Complex on the outskirts of Rabat to see the players first-hand and to talk to Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti. The coach of the Moroccan national team spoke with the Madrid coach and explained the important sports infrastructures of the Mohammed VI Sports Complex, an infrastructure that promotes the sporting and personal development of the members of the Moroccan national team and its youth teams.
The work being carried out by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation is very important, with the outstanding support of King Mohammed VI, to promote the development of football players in the North African country. These efforts are bearing fruit and have led to successes such as Morocco's performance at the last World Cup in Qatar, where they achieved a real milestone by becoming the first African and Arab team to qualify for the semi-finals of a World Cup.
Walid Regragui had a very friendly conversation with Carlo Ancelotti, with whom he even posed for the media with an official Moroccan national team shirt, as well as explaining the workings of the Moroccan Federation's facilities.

The Whites completed their last training session before the match against Al-Ahly, from which the team that will play against Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia in the final to be played at the Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat next Saturday at 20:00 will emerge.
Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal eliminated Brazil's Flamengo in the other semi-final with a 3-2 win in what was the first major upset of the tournament. The Saudi side beat the South American Copa Libertadores champions against the odds with goals from Salem al-Dawsari and Luciano Vietto to book a place in Saturday's final in Rabat.
Real Madrid will be looking to beat Al-Ahly on Wednesday to reach the final match against Al-Hilal and try to win what would be their fifth Club World Cup, as it is known under the current format. It would be the eighth title if you count the old Intercontinental Cup, which the white team won on three occasions. Madrid's opponents in this next match are the Egyptian representatives, one of the most important clubs in Africa and the most successful in Egypt.
