The "koldosphere"
The suspicion of corruption once again splashes Sánchez's government. The other Gürtel of the PSOE. The Sanchista wall is cracking. The exemplary Navarre militant Koldo García Izaguirre, on provisional release after refusing to testify before judge Ismael Moreno, confirms the proximity to the Moncloa of this adviser "for everything", as a main protagonist in "Delcy's suitcases", along with the ex-minister Ábalos. Koldo is under investigation for allegedly receiving 'bribes' in the purchase of Chinese health material when COVID-19 broke out.
- One hundred years of honesty
- Death meets death
- Galicia, amnesty halted
- The tractorada
- Valencia burns
While the president was rushing to Rabat, the police arrested around 20 people, all of them socialists, who were enriched during the pandemic. Bribes for the purchase of masks, gowns and Chinese respirators suddenly made them millionaires to the point that they were investing in real estate and land as if they were Don José Banús.
Only 48 hours had passed since the defeat of Don Pedro (40 PP-9 PSOE) in Galicia, the extension of the deadline for amendments to the Amnesty Law, the Popular Legislative Initiative (IPL) that the Parliamentary Bureau is processing to declare the unilateral independence of Catalonia without a referendum, ¡Viva la convivencia!
All this, with the accumulated pain of the murder of two civil guards and another seriously injured by a narco-boat that ran over their Zodiac. The Interior knew he was sending them to certain death, but Marlaska did not resign. Nor is he dismissed. Five ministers at the Goyas, including the Monclovite "icon", but none has yet been to Barbate. And the tractors invading Madrid, beaten up by the Government Delegation.
One hundred years of honesty
This was the slogan of Felipe González and the "tortilla clan" during the Transition. They never spoke of the treasures of "El Vita" who allowed "Prieto and his comrades" to live like pachás for the rest of their days in Mexico. Minutes before his death he asked for forgiveness, but never returned a peseta. Negrín made his profit with the gold from Moscow and was later rehabilitated and his family was compensated by Rodríguez Zapatero with almost three million euros.
Left behind were Filesa, Malesa, Time Sport, the Red Cross, the Orphans of the Civil Guard, reserved funds, Navarra, and all the Andalusian corruption of the Eres and the training courses with drugs and prostitution included; more than 2,000 million euros.
Only the "Puyol (ethical) saga" has surpassed the PSOE and the Romanian Ceaucescu in corruption within the EU. Most recently, the case of "Tito Berni" and the Fomento plot that spills over to the socialist governments of the Balearic Islands (Armengol) and the Canary Islands (Torres).
The theft of Illa's "Chinese" friends in Baix Llobregat, who billed 300 million euros to the Health Department for masks and nobody knows where they ended up, has yet to be cleared up. And the "Aquamed case" of the desalination plants sponsored by party president Cristina Narbona, which is still in court after the expulsion from the company of a decent engineer who denounced the embezzlement.
The "Ábalos-Koldo" case is the second case that directly affects the Moncloa. And then, the usual. Nobody knew anything. The ex-Minister of Public Works considers himself a victim and Sánchez insists on the lie - in Congress and in Rabat - that Feijóo is the corrupt one, because he was a "pepero basher" against Casado when the latter denounced the false corruption of Isabel Díaz Ayuso's brother.
In the press conference after the meeting with Mohammed VI, where neither immigration nor hashish drug trafficking was discussed, he insisted that Tomás Díaz Ayuso has not been investigated. This is a lie, he knows it and his insidiousness proves his low moral character. The truth is that he has not even been charged by Spanish or European justice. The response of the president of the Community of Madrid was simple: "I like fruit".
The hundred years of honesty (and 40 years of holidays) denounced by Ramón Tamames, then in Carrillo's PCE, is just that, a campaign slogan.
Now that we have seen how Sanchismo has reduced the sentence for embezzlement of public funds; now that in the European Parliament the Spanish PSOE has refused to condemn corrupt politicians and Putin's collaborators in order to save Puigdemont's skin and Sánchez's mandate; now, precisely now, we understand why Griñán has not entered prison and will benefit from an immediate personal pardon.
This is the PSOE: corruption with amnesty to stay in power and protection for embezzlers of public money. The honesty of the socialists was as false with Largo Caballero as with Guerra and "mi enmano", with ZP or with Sánchez.
Not all socialists are the same; those of Castilla-La Mancha with Bono and García-Page, who have governed the land of Don Quixote for seven long lustrums, have not been able to find a single case of corruption. The problem is that decent people have no place in the current Sanchismo.
Koldo was J.L. Ábalos' bodyguard in charge of paying for all the parties with 500-buck notes. The all-powerful ex-secretary general of the party is still aforado as a member of parliament for Valencia and is also president of the Interior Commission. An untouchable.
The socialist mayor of León has confirmed Koldo's threats, whose godfather was the current Secretary of Organisation Santos Cerdán. Navarre was always ahead of the curve in socialist corruption with Urralburu, Aragonés and Roldán.
First Vice-President M. J. Montero has invited the Valencian to leave the seat and the party. The "aizkolari" from Navarre, Koldo García Izaguirre, condemned for assaulting two people and pardoned by the PP, is a person fondly mentioned in "Tierra firme" by Irene Lozano, black of the writer Pedro Sánchez, in her memoirs of a statesman.
How big is this bite that even Yolanda and Ione have described it as "extremely serious". But they continue to support Mr Sánchez. On this occasion even the Minister of Transport (formerly Fomento) Óscar Puente has refused to make a statement. In other words: it is the Gürtel, the PSOE's "koldosphere". Corruption without limits.
Death meets death
The revenge killing of two civil guards in Barbate (Cádiz) a fortnight ago has confirmed that the government has forgotten about the fight against drug trafficking in the Strait of Gibraltar and the eastern coasts of Andalusia. The Interior has sent them straight to their deaths, as their families and colleagues denounced.
All the pain in the world belongs to him despite the fact that four public servants were saved. It was a miracle. In the Catalan Parliament there was no consensus to approve a communiqué condemning the killing when one of the agents was born in Barcelona. Is this not repression? In the Congress of Deputies, the usual wretches were absent.
After the emotional impact, the funerals and the usual condemnations, the inhabitants of Barbate and the villages in the area returned to normality with the usual apathy.
The young people who cheered "El Cabras" as he rammed the Zodiac to kill the "dogs" (policemen) ratify the hatred of a youth with no future who prefer drug traffickers.
The girls shouting: "innocent, innocent! while the detainees were being taken to the police station, reinforces the suspicion that these young people are sailing in the same boat as the apostles of the Sinaloa cartel. In some neighbourhoods of the municipalities of Campo de Gibraltar, the police are not allowed to enter or patrol. On top of that, many fathers, mothers and children of these hitmen receive subsidies from the public administrations. Kiko "El Cabras" is their messiah. Unfortunately.
The question is: why doesn't the Army patrol? When will the Surveillance System bought 8 years ago by Rajoy's government be installed?
It would be a good thing if drug trafficking crimes were to return to the National Court again.
This Executive's lack of protection for the FSE and especially for the benemérita Police contrasts with the perks received by our autonomous police forces and the material resources handed over to Morocco.
The difference in resources explains everything. A 14-metre illegal narco-boat, weighing 3,000 kilos and with 500 hp compared to a 5-metre Zodiac, weighing 500 kilos and with 110 hp. An unequal battle to combat one of the hottest drug hotspots in Europe.
It is inexplicable that, in the last 15 days, no member of the Executive has dared to visit the scene of the double crime, not even the Director General of the Civil Guard, Leonardo Marcos.
He has heroically reappeared to swear in Lieutenant Colonel María Jesús Pascual as the new head of the Cuenca Command. Brave! In keeping with his unworthy minister, he has not had the courage to go anywhere near Barbate either. However, in La Vanguardia, thirteen days later, he stated that "he has not detected any error in the Barbate operation". You tell that, Mr. Director, to the mothers, wives and children of David Pérez and Ángel Luis González.
The political biography of Fernando Grande Marlaska, democracy's longest-serving Interior Minister, is marked by his servility to the PP and the PSOE; he was a member of the CGPJ because of his friendship with Don Mariano's sister and a minister because of Judge Margarita Robles. His service record is a hymn to indignity.
I have compiled half a hundred actions that I will summarise in these headlines: the trash Fridays, releasing and bringing ETA members closer; he dismissed Colonel Pérez de los Cobos and the 26 dead in Melilla; condemned by the SC for violating the HR of minors, dismissal of the head of occupational hazards for denouncing the COVID, reprobation by the Congress and the Senate; falsification of a government document to accuse Ciudadanos of lying, he asked the Civil Guard to collect information from the media that criticised the Government; the bullets that arrived at his office during the election campaign, concealing the fact that Podemos militants stoned VOX, minimising the actions of the CDR, denying the constitutionality of the amnesty and now defending it with devotion; maintaining María Gámez, who has been implicated in corruption, as director general of the Civil Guard; and, finally, leaving the clandestine arrivals of minors crammed into the Barajas terminal in legal limbo. This is the "Marlaska compromise" of infamy.
The only thing worthy of his trajectory in this final stretch has been the refusal of David Pérez's widow to allow the Minister of the Interior to place the Medal of Merit for Bravery on the coffin. Fortitude in the face of humiliation.
Galicia, amnesty halted
So much has happened this week that the echo of the 18F elections seems to be bouncing off distant horizons. The Galicians spoke and the result was resounding: 40-9. Sánchez, ZP and Besteiro reaped what they sowed: division. Only out of desperation could the PSOE-G ask for a vote for the Bloque Nacionalista Gallego (BNG) to scrape a few crumbs of power. Sánchez preferred to support Ana Pontón to broaden his Popular Front.
She is a Marxist-Leninist she-wolf of Maoist obedience, disguised in the guise of a centrist lamb. But in her electoral programme the first point was/is self-determination, the second the construction of the "Republic of Galicia" and as a dessert the expulsion of the Guardia Civil. "We will not be less than Catalonia and Euskadi", he threatened with a Profidén smile.
The failures of Sumar, Podemos and VOX bring forward the future of these three formations in the European elections in June. None of them has explained the reasons. Yolanda Dísz has been the most punished. She failed miserably in her hometown, Fene (A Coruña). We have already said that she is a political bluff. The more he is known the less people vote for him.
The seat of Democracia Orensana will not be paid in cash for the moment. Rueda ensures stability for the northwest and for Spain. At least from Finisterre there will be no blackmail to the State.
Feijóo has renewed his plebiscite despite paying for lunch for 15 selected journalists to inform them that he considered amnesty for Puigdemont (if he repented); one cannot be more naive. Does he think that journalism in Madrid is the same as the one he subsidised in Santiago? He learns little in the hours before voting day.
How many people have felt let down after attending your rallies? And why doesn't he expel Casado and García Egea from the party once and for all after trying to politically assassinate Isabel by accusing her brother Tomás Díaz Ayuso of enriching himself in the middle of the pandemic?
I think Feijóo has won the elections again in Galicia, but he has lost the street. The "off the record", Mr Núñez, is the devil's work. Sanchez may be touched, but he is not sunk.
The tractorada
Farmers, stockbreeders, fishermen and hauliers can't take it any more. They work below production costs and the EU and the government are their enemies. They have invaded cities and blocked roads to make themselves respected. We have the best primary sector in the world and we are ruining it.
I am the son, grandson and great-grandson of Roman ploughmen. And although, a deserter, because "I never had the guts to plough the land", I feel their pain as my own. My family is still attached to the land. The land, always the land puts its oblivion in the way. I was happy to see tractors in Puerta de Alcalá, in Cibeles and in front of the Ministry of Agriculture. Claiming rights, abandonment and oblivion.
Their brutal treatment of the farmers was inhuman; unworthy of a government delegate in Madrid who says that "Bildu has done more for the Spanish people than the citizens with the little flag on their wrists". With such a philosophy, his reputation as a pro-rich proletarian precedes him.
I strongly condemn the unacceptable words against the Police of the leader of the 6F platform, the voxista from Extremadura Lola Guzmán: "ETA killed few of you", she vomited in La Peineta. You, madam, are unpresentable. I hope that Justice will settle the score.
Farmers are painfully fed up with the Brussels bureaucrats, the red tape, the unfair competition from third countries and the greens. They want to make a living from their work, they want enough water to irrigate their fields and water their livestock, and they want fair prices.
The talks with Minister Planas are not progressing because this government promises a lot and never gives wheat if you are not a nationalist, pro-coup or pro-ETA. Forward, men and women of the countryside and the sea! The people you feed every day are with you.
Valencia burns
At half past five on Thursday, two residential buildings in the city of the Turia were burning like wildfire. The service provided by the private television stations was exemplary. They broke programming and we were able to follow minute by minute how the fire devoured a 14-storey building and the anguished rescue of a couple on the seventh floor. The toll was tragic: 9 dead and almost 20 injured. Everything seems to indicate that the polyurethane insulation on the façade accelerated the combustion with the strong westerly winds.
Our appreciation goes to the firefighters, the UME, the Police and the Red Cross; to the Hospitals, the psychologists and the citizens for their behaviour.
The City Council, the Valencian Community and the National Government worked in coordination to extinguish the raging fire. President Sánchez was close by during his emergency visit. He promised aid to the victims and showed solidarity with the families of the victims. The city council is preparing 135 council flats, recently acquired as temporary housing. Mazón was also with his people. This Saturday, Alberto Núñez Feijóo attended.
Our affection for the victims who have lost their homes, their belongings and their memories. Stephen Hawking has already demonstrated in his "Theory of Everything" that this premise is impossible. Unfortunately, it was not a nightmare. In the blink of an eye 140 families have lost their entire past.
The worst thing is not the present - they are still in shock - but the future. All their dreams have been ripped away from them. To go from everything to nothing and without vital memories is, to use the words of Miguel Hernández, "a hard blow, an icy blow, an invisible and homicidal axe, a brutal push (has) knocked you down. There is no greater extension than (your wound)... May God protect those affected!
We urge that a popular subscription be opened as it happened in 57 with the floods of the Turia in favour of those who have lost almost everything... except hope. "I still have life" taught us the poet from Orihuela.
