An unrecognisable world

The causes for this can be multiple and of both endogenous and exogenous origin. In certain cases, it is the element itself, which is the object of observation, which directly intervenes in the occurrence of such a phenomenon due to certain natural wear and tear or physical or chemical decomposition which can usually be attributed to factors such as the passage of time, illness or other exogenous agents which, as premeditated external actions and almost always malicious in the search for damage, have a direct and negative impact on them.
These occasions, which are certainly the majority of all of them, are the most pernicious because, as already mentioned, the phenomenon of degradation is deeper and faster because it is not attributable to the slow decomposition of the element in question, but exclusively to external attacks, completely unrelated to the element or system under analysis.
This is what has been happening lately with world peace and harmony, which, although not in such a state that they could be celebrated at any time, did maintain a certain order and harmony thanks to several supporting phenomena such as the weight, the category and the success of most of the governing political agents and their tradition created in the countries of importance and also to the role played by certain organisations of a global or regional international nature and application such as the UN, NATO and other political, economic or social organisations or associations.
In the last twenty years, the continuous and unstoppable disappearance from public life or the degradation of these elements or persons - which served as a cover for harmful initiatives - has been intensified by a series of phenomena such as the coronavirus pandemic that struck and spread around the world, producing a profound change in the way we see things, how we protect ourselves and how we live our own lives; technological and destructive advances in the world of armaments, the explosion of the enormous development of drone capabilities and materials that move autonomously on land, sea and air, the multiple applications of artificial intelligence and other major crisis factors in the fields of politics and economics of no lesser importance, have meant that the world no longer resembles what it was only a few years ago.
The crisis within the EU and in the UK due to the consequences of Brexit should be taken into consideration because of its importance and significance; the growing, current and dangerous loss of leadership in Germany and France, with powerful swings towards the far-right, which is so disastrous for everyone; the long and costly war in Ukraine with its implications for the EU, NATO and, fundamentally, the neighbouring countries; the incredible advances and daring of terrorist groups against Israel, which, in a short time, have transformed a terrorist attack of limited scope into a truly global war, even if, for the moment, it seems or is regional in nature.
This military action could be called the new war in the Middle East due to the number and power of the materials used, the casualties they cause and the increase in the number of actors involved (Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen and, in a more hidden way, Iran and Syria, among others); not to mention the growing and far from limited conflicts in other parts of the world such as Africa and its neighbouring waters or straits, as well as the energy crisis in all its facets with the undefined nature of nuclear energy and its future application and use, or the changes in the new and different world resulting from the use of advanced technologies in multiple facets - many of them applied en masse without having been fully developed or evaluated; nor of the transcendent or dangerous - because of their permanent character in an increasing and massive way - migrations from south to north in several continents, in search of water, sustenance or a simple shelter or job.
All of them, together or separately, have moved us, are moving us and will move us to take far-reaching decisions, many of them painful, and to set the world on certain trends or drifts that do not lead to anything easy, simple or good, or at least that is how it seems at first glance.
The lack of leadership in the United States and Russia, with the obvious and very dangerous errors highlighted in recent times in both, the aimless march of Europe towards a world of military or political insignificance, the unusual growth of other actors, until now playing in another league, such as China, India, Turkey, North Korea, Pakistan and Iran, and the unstoppable and unstoppable growth of the United States and Russia, Pakistan and Iran, and the unstoppable and growing movement for freedom and democracy in multiple Ibero-American scenarios are elements that should not be seen as local or of minor importance because together they are of great transcendence and their very concurrence can move international consciences now or in the very near future.
The search for new, hitherto unassailable riches, both on the African continent and under the waters and ice of the Arctic, will undoubtedly be a source of great and serious confrontations between the three main giants (the United States, Russia and China) who are currently seeking to divide up the world, always in their favour, and to enjoy their delicacies exclusively.
As for the moral, personal or political character of the current leaders, there is much to be criticised, criticised and even belittled. Their degree of preparation, even moral, or basic dignity leaves much to be desired; some are even capable of keeping their respective countries in constant, costly and bloody wars in order to stay in office (Netanyahu and Putin). Others, without going as far as that, do not mind flouting democratic principles or precepts, even the most basic ones, or destroying their countries by replacing principles that should be immovable with others without hesitation, even if the latter have nowhere to be grasped, defended or maintained (Sánchez, Maduro, Erdogan or Xi Jinping head a long list of dictators and unbelievers or aspiring ones). And the bad thing about all this is that there is no one capable of raising their voice against them or, at least, of making them rectify under pressure.
The various economic, health and social crises have led us to settle in the world of excessive debt and huge deficits without taking into consideration the disastrous consequences that both extremes will undoubtedly bring when the time and place come, to those countries that have not known how or wanted to react in time and yet have preferred to live for too many years in a world of excessive debt and huge deficits, without taking into consideration the disastrous consequences that both extremes will undoubtedly bring when the time and place come, have preferred to live for too many years, looking the other way and turning a blind eye, because those who resort to such sins know that it will not be up to them to remedy them and they do not care about the inheritance they leave in this matter to their own future generations, who, in addition to having to face them, will be demographically much less able to face them and correct them.
Definitely, the world has changed so much that there is no one to recognise it, it is totally unrecognisable and everything is up to its sleeves, being the breeding ground for the peaceful solace of dictators and unbelievers. At this point, I don't want to be any more prophetic than I usually am, but I really don't like the colour and smell of this seriously ill man's urine.
