R.I.P.

Almost a year and a half ago now, and how time flies, especially for those of us who have already embroidered the seventies on our back stripes, I wrote and published an article, which I titled Spain is lost and whose link appears below   https://atalayar.com/blog/españa-está-perdida

Many of my friends -all of them good, at least in intention- accused me of being somewhat exaggerated, premature, distrustful of the government and reticent about the reaction capacity of the Spaniards, who were assured that they would not consent to such things and would put their foot on the wall to avoid such outrages; And even one of the publishing houses that publishes most of what comes out of my pen, titled it by putting the phrase in question marks to give rise to doubt or as a vanishing point, when what I wanted was to sign categorically that yes, Spain was lost.

But if I predicted such a situation so long ago, not because I was smarter than the rest, but because I was very observant and distrustful of false promises, of sellers of smoke or magical creepers and of those who are capable of renouncing their own mother or dignity for a miserable plate of lentils, I could not think that we were going to get to where we have been for the last weeks and where, most probably, we are going to get to if we continue on this path, as I fear and sadly, I reaffirm that this will be the case.
With different coups d'effect, nocturnality, malice aforethought, unjustified haste and using all the most crooked and unworthy ways of a man who boasts of being a politician of consensus, depth and who will go down in history for his good work, Sánchez, without entrusting himself to anyone and acting as a pure satrap, has turned everything around as if he were a common or simple sock.

He has stopped at nothing, he has turned a deaf ear to everything and to all those who did not follow his path and, with true lies such as homogenizing the country with the rest of Europe or appeasing the unhealthy Catalan ambitions, he has legislated hastily and badly, without even stopping to contemplate the possible consequences of his clumsy, inept and hasty walk.
The communists, coup plotters and philo-terrorists are now the ones who dictate the laws in his ear or even legislate themselves at their convenience; those who decide what should be done, how and when to judge the crimes they have left behind or that have simply disappeared to be able to do it again with full guarantees that they will not even have to suffer the parade of the derisory and shameful situation we have had to endure for the benefit of some vulgar wrongdoers unworthy of being called Spaniards, in exchange for keeping the president, the least voted in history, in his chair so that while he enjoys it, he can be the tool that destroys Spain, in such a way that it will be very difficult to recognize and almost impossible to recover after the passage of this sunami that continuously and constantly lashes us from all sides.

They have not left a single head on their shoulders, they have had to modify everything, to tamper with it and to dirty it. The family no longer exists, nor the large family; children belong to the State and not to their parents; euthanasia is freely practiced; abortion is free, free and unrestricted not even by age; a disproportionate improvement in the rights of transsexuals has been implemented; teaching in Spanish is impossible in more and more corners of the homeland; the differences in taxes and perks between regions is becoming more and more gross, bulky and self-serving, while fiercely attacking regions that, cleanly and honestly, want to compete with the rest by making theirs much more attractive in terms of taxes and administrative impediments than the others; the state security forces and the military are belittled, vilified and, even humiliatingly, they are withdrawn from their national deployments because they pursue those who threaten it or stink at loving Spain too much.

Institutions such as the Church and the Crown are fiercely attacked without anything happening; public funds can be embezzled with impunity; pedophiles are getting out of jails because an uneducated and inept minister of Podemos felt like presenting a law, thanks to which those already judged, confessed and convicted who have done so much damage and will continue to do due to their new situation of freedom are benefiting; the assault on the judiciary and the dominance of the Constitutional Court, is a matter of a few days or weeks after fulfilling some formal aspect and it remains to be seen, what will happen in Catalonia and when, undoubtedly, that popular consultation will be held to consolidate and demand with impunity its independence.
I have left in the inkwell some other despicable aspect because I think that the list of the previous paragraphs is more than significant, overwhelming and embarrassing for anyone who loves Spain, its lands, uses, customs and history and see that in addition to all this, due to the disastrous Law of education, this is the worst and most sectarian we have ever had in our country.

Many with some common sense and confidence in the higher institutions thought that, in view of what happened in Hungary and Poland, Europe would not allow this dictator to do even half of the things he has already done, despite the fact that some opposition party has formally denounced him. But Sanchez, as a good trickster and deceiver of good intentions, has managed to avoid all the pitfalls. His lip service, false promises and, above all, our position as an important European power after the exit of the United Kingdom is very strong and furthermore, it would be a great failure to jeopardize a basket in which the Europeans have deposited so many eggs, even though the satrap does not comply with any of the requirements and commitments that have been marked for him to enjoy such eggs.

In spite of all the above, of the shameful and usurious assault on our pockets in taxes and of the fact that the economy is as it is, the Spaniards are going about their business -soccer, bullfighting, vacations, subsidies, the "paguita por la cara", the bridges and looking the other way continuously-; very few raise their voices anymore. As the vast majority of the media are bought and stuffed with benefits and perks, they are unable to contradict, recognize their ineptitude or criticize the government, at a time when, without the manna of the State, personal and collective survival is very difficult.

Our foreign policy in the environment that surrounds us and beyond the seas, has never fallen lower thanks to the actions and personal decisions of an incompetent, poorly advised by diplomats or witches' amateurs who do not know our history, our background and how those to whom, without deserving it, you shake hands and tomorrow they laugh in your face and also ask for your whole arm.

If a year and a half ago, I assured that Spain was in danger, now in view of what has been seen and with the forecasts -again denied by the Executive as usual before they become effective- I assure with a great pain in my heart and with the impotence or bitterness of being an old and retired man, that our exciting and democratic Spain, the one for which we have shed so much effort, blood and sweat, is buried.
REST IN PEACE
