Encuentros Confinados

Starting this Friday, CaixaForum will open a window into the homes of musicians, illustrators, film directors and designers through the series of Encuentros Con/finados, with the participation of illustrator Paco Roca, film director Alba Sotorra and musicians such as Rodrigo Cuevas and Ferran Palau. The illustration and design studios Cabeza Patata and Lo Siento and the photographers Anna Devís and Daniel Rueda will also be taking part. These creators will share on cultural centres' social networks how they are living in confinement, as well as their concerns and least known skills.

The CaixaForum initiative aims to continue disseminating culture in times of confinement and is part of the special content line launched on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels as part of the #YoMeQuedoEnCasa campaign, following the closure of centres due to the coronavirus crisis.

The master of folkloric activity, Rodrigo Cuevas, will be in charge of launching the digital version of Encuentros with, this Friday. Since 2012, these events have taken place in CaixaForum and are now being broadcast online. It does so while preserving the values of the series and creating a collection of videos where the creators speak directly and share how they are experiencing confinement, what discoveries they have made, what projects they have been able to restore and what their concerns are. In these clips, which will be broadcast on Fridays, the creators finally share what they will do to celebrate the end of the confinement.
