The plot of the novel centres on a mysterious disappearance in a Riad in Marrakech and two unusual detectives from Barcelona, who break all the rules. The author traces a duel between brains and passion, and the backdrop is the splendid, chaotic and amusing city with its landscapes, its people and its prayers.

Born in Barcelona, Teresa Menero has been an art dealer for more than a decade and has never abandoned her passion for writing. A multifaceted author, her work encompasses theatre, prose and poetry. She has been awarded the Casandra prize for female playwrights, and is currently publishing numerous books of poems with the group "Amics del Brosa", of which she is a member.

The presentation will be given by Xavier Vallverdu, in the presence of the author, who will offer an agape with homemade Spanish sweets after the event.

José Antonio Sierra, Hispanism advisor.
