Mireia Estrada presents at the Three Cultures Foundation "Without sugar. A Western woman in Morocco’ at the Three Cultures Foundation

The Three Cultures Foundation, as part of the celebration of its 25th anniversary and in collaboration with the publishing house Cuatro lunas, is organising a meeting this Wednesday at 19:30 with the philologist and cultural manager Mireia Estrada Gelabert, the author of her debut novel "Without Sugar. A Western woman in Morocco". She will be accompanied by the Moroccan researcher and translator Sanae Chairi. 

Using autobiography, family chronicles and essays, Estrada Gelabert examines her relationship with Morocco, a country she has known for decades due to family ties. Through anecdotes and reflections in an ironic vein, she tackles the complexity of social integration and culture shock, exploring these themes from the point of view of fragility and self-questioning.
