In his speech at the opening of the tenth edition of the Virtual Conference on Technology, Society and Security "CyFy 2020", organized by the Indian think-tank Observer Research Foundation (ORF), Elalamy highlighted a substantial advance in the digital sector and digital technologies during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, noting that consumption, production and marketing habits have changed significantly around the world.

Digital technologies have gained in importance and expansion and have been highlighted as one of the main beneficiaries of this pandemic, according to the Moroccan minister.
It is necessary to capitalize, he insisted, this strong advance of technologies with new ways of working that have developed considerably, leading to important results and benefits in various industries and businesses.

The digitized world would change the references of many works, but it is pertinent to take into account the human and ethical aspect in this strong evolution of technologies, he judged.
According to the organizers, this event, held from October 12 to 16, aims to identify the new digital modes that are emerging in society and reflect on how to make the digital transformation of economies an active lever for development and progress.
