Madrid, a business nexus between Latin America and China
The Ibero-American Federation of Young Entrepreneurs (FIJE) and the NI HAO CONECTA (NHC) business platform have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of boosting business relations between Latin America and China, with Madrid as a link between the two.
At the headquarters of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (CEOE), Antonio Magraner Balaguer, Secretary General of FIJE and Laura González Escallada, founding partner of NI HAO CONECTA have signed the agreement that aims to facilitate and bring Ibero-American and Chinese entrepreneurs closer to opportunities between the two markets.
Among the objectives of the signing, this union seeks to promote and help young Ibero-American entrepreneurs in Asia, specifically in China.
For Antonio Magraner, this agreement represents the beginning of a great journey between both entities, full of activities and business missions in different countries. "In a six-month period in which Spain holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the scenarios for the development of missions and meetings in both Latin American countries and China are very positive", he pointed out.
For her part, Laura G. Escallada pointed out that "in a year in which the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Spain is a great opportunity to strengthen friendships between the two countries, it is important for Ibero-American and Chinese businesspeople to have a more direct relationship".
Ibero-American Federation of Young Entrepreneurs (FIJE)
The Ibero-American Federation of Young Entrepreneurs (FIJE) is a non-profit organisation considered to be the largest representative body of young entrepreneurs in Ibero-America. It was founded in 2008 by representative entities of young entrepreneurs from 17 countries with the main objective of pursuing economic development with socio-environmental responsibility.
In addition to the founding countries, FIJE was supported by the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) and the Ibero-American Youth Organisation (OIJ) in its creation.
It brings together more than 80,000 young entrepreneurs in search of business development through local and international entities and seeking dialogue with governments and international organisations.
NI HAO CONECTA (NHC)
NI HAO CONECTA (NHC), a business and communication platform between China, Spain and Latin America, acts as the main axis in the search and development of business and investment opportunities through institutional, academic and governmental agendas.
As a consultancy specialising in Public Affairs, NHC has an advisory board made up of renowned academics, consultants and experts from the national and international business environment, guaranteeing internationalisation processes and brand reinforcement in any of the three axes in the triangulation: Spain-China-Latin America.
The Spanish entity has its own communication channel with accredited seals, both in Western and Eastern social networks, and recognition in WeChat. In addition, in the framework of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Spain in 2023 and with the public intention shown by the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Kingdom of Spain to strengthen trade and cultural ties between them, NHC is developing a major promotional campaign through a series of public and private activities throughout 2023.
