Minsait receives the "Equality in the company" label

Minsait, an Indra company, has just received the "Equality in the company 2023" distinction, awarded by the Ministry of Equality to recognise and stimulate the work of companies committed to equality between men and women.
This recognition goes for the first time to the consultancy and digital transformation company, which at the beginning of 2023 became one of the first in the sector to reach an agreement to approve its "Equality Plan" in accordance with the legally established requirements.
The criteria to qualify for the distinction range from a selection and recruitment process without bias to training actions with a gender perspective, including the promotion of work-life balance and its co-responsible exercise, equal pay and the prevention of sexual harassment.
Throughout 2023, Minsait has responded to these requirements thanks to an "Equality Plan" that benefits all the company's employees, extending rights and establishing non-discrimination measures across the board.
This plan, which consists of more than a hundred measures, focuses on attracting talent, increasing the presence of women at all levels of the organisation and extending leave for medical care or for pregnancy, birth and adoption, among other actions.
As a result of this commitment, the people responsible for the selection process at Minsait have received appropriate training to ensure that candidates are assessed on the basis of their qualifications and experience, thus avoiding possible discrimination. The company has also encouraged the attraction of women from STEM careers, prioritising the selection of new female employees in those positions where they are under-represented and developing guidance and expert advice programmes to promote the increase of female professionals in management and leadership positions.
Meeting regularly and in permanent communication, the monitoring committee has been responsible for ensuring compliance with the objectives set out in the "Equality Plan", which also includes measures to raise staff awareness of joint responsibility and inclusive language, to prevent and punish sexual harassment in the event of possible episodes and to address the socio-occupational needs of victims of gender-based violence.
Externally, the technology company's actions in the area of equality have led it to participate in organisations and associations related to equality between men and women and in awards such as the "Fent Empresa" seal or the LinkedIn Top 25 Companies ranking, which distinguishes Minsait as one of the best companies for developing a professional career.
"The achievement of real and effective equality in all social spheres and, specifically, in the business sphere, is a constantly evolving process", says Sofía Collado, Human Resources Director of the Indra Group. "Therefore," she adds, "through the 2024-2028 Equality Plan, we are making a new expression of this commitment in the interests of integration and the ever-increasing promotion of the principle of equality between women and men at Minsait".
