ZF Friedrichshafen locates in Tanger Automotive City

The German group ZF Friedrichshafen will be part of the development of Morocco's automotive sector. The Tanger Automotive City platform offers free zone status to companies dedicated to industry, logistics or tertiary services.
Tanger Automotive City is an industrial platform integrated in the Tangier Med region, considered one of the strongest economic centres in northern Morocco. The large-scale project Tanger Med Zones aims at the gradual and long-term implementation of industrial, logistics and tertiary parks adjacent to the port of Tangier Med and the entire Strait region.
Strategic positioning
Due to the development of the automotive industry in Morocco, the area is close to the Renault Tangier Med plant (less than 2 kilometres away). Tangier Automotive City is directly connected to the port of Tangier Med (22 km) and the Tangier Free Zone (20 km). The platform also has 1,800 kilometres of road network and 2,000 kilometres of rail network.
The Moroccan government's commitment to the development of the sector is clear: to attract as many companies as possible to forge a complex that in the short term will be considered a global reference point.
