The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has urged to de-escalate the escalating conflict and tension between Palestinians and Israelis following the latest Hamas attack on Israeli territory and the response of the State of Israel.
In an official statement, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has called for efforts by the United States and other influential nations to establish peace as soon as possible.

Escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: statement by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
The following statement is issued in accordance with the guidance of the World Leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masrur Ahmad.
Statement on behalf of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community:
"In recent days, hundreds of Israelis and Palestinians, including women, children and the elderly, have been killed or injured as a result of the violence and bloodshed taking place. Killing or injuring innocent civilians is a direct violation of the teachings of the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings be upon him), who taught that even in a state of war, it is strictly forbidden to attack or harm any woman, child or elderly person. Nor should any religious leader or place of worship be attacked.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community extends its sincere condolences and prayers to all those who have been bereaved or affected in any way. Our hearts go out to them all.

We pray and urge for an immediate end to the hostilities and for peace to prevail so that no more lives are lost. For that, the channels of communication between the relevant parties and nations need to remain open.
Until a ceasefire is in place, any military action taken must ensure that civilians are not harmed.
In addition, Muslim countries in the region should unite in an effort to establish peace and ensure that the rights of innocent Palestinian people, who have no ties to extremists, are protected.
We urge the United States and other influential nations to refrain from any actions or statements that could further inflame the volatile situation. Instead, together with relevant international organisations, they should, as a matter of urgency, make every effort to de-escalate the conflict and establish peace as soon as possible."
