Moroccan police officers arrested a suspected terrorist loyal to the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) in the northern city of Tangier.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Territory Surveillance, the 28-year-old detainee from the city of Mohamadia was "effectively involved in preparations for the execution of a terrorist plan against a sensitive establishment in Tangier".
The suspect, arrested on Thursday, was handed over to the police to reveal the possible targets he had planned and his possible accomplices.
In the same city of Tangiers, Moroccan forces dismantled a cell loyal to Daesh, made up of three individuals, on Monday.
