Moroccan police arrest extremist loyal to Daesh in the north of the country

Moroccan police officers arrested a suspected terrorist loyal to the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) in the northern city of Tangier. 

According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Territory Surveillance, the 28-year-old detainee from the city of Mohamadia was "effectively involved in preparations for the execution of a terrorist plan against a sensitive establishment in Tangier"

The suspect, arrested on Thursday, was handed over to the police to reveal the possible targets he had planned and his possible accomplices.
