Spanish justice charges the son of the Polisario leader, Brahim Ghali

Luali Brahim, son of the leader of the Polisario Front is now under investigation by the Court nº 7 of Saragossa following the ruling of Judge Lasala's order. In the text provided by the magistrate, Luali Brahim is indicated as the indirect perpetrator of the false documentation that the popular accusation denounced in 2021.
According to the order to which ATALAYAR has had access, it would be Luali Brahim, and not his father, who would have processed the documentation in the hospital in Logroño, as Brahim Ghali was totally unable to do so due to his state of health.
At the same time, the order speaks of the response of the Polisario Front's representation in Spain, which dissociates itself from the episode in which its secretary general was admitted to the Spanish hospital. According to the order, the Polisario Front delegation in Spain declared before the judge that it had no knowledge of Brahim Ghali's transfer to Spain and that therefore no member of the same delegation was present at the time when the alleged false documentation was handed over. The responsibility for the hypothetical falsification of documents would thus fall on Luali Brahim.
According to the evidence provided by the hospital staff who attended Brahim Ghali, Luali Brahim accompanied his father during his admission to the hospital.
The magistrate of the Zaragoza court has thus set 10 days for Luali Brahim Sid el Mustafa to appear before the court as a person under investigation. If he does not appear, he will be declared in contempt of court in accordance with the order. The State Security Forces and Corps have already had the corresponding requisition in their automated files since Friday, December 9th.
Judge Rafael Lasala has also suspended the case pending a response from the competent Algerian authorities, who have been asked for information on the issue of the passport presented at the hospital in Logroño. The Algerian state has not yet responded to the rogatory letter from the Spanish justice administration, which was issued for the first time on 6 October and a second time on 17 November with the corresponding translation.
The health care given to the Polisario leader in 2021 caused a serious diplomatic crisis between Spain and Morocco. Rabat did not tolerate the gesture, which the then Minister of Foreign Affairs, González Laya, described as "humanitarian".
Those responsible for the case have tried on several occasions to obtain answers from Luali Brahim, when he was only a witness in the case, to no avail.
