Atalayar wishes you peace and harmony for the new year 2025

A year marked by international instability, the resurgence of armed conflicts in both Ukraine and the Middle East and the reminder that humans are vulnerable to natural disasters is coming to an end.
A year ago, in these same pages, we expressed the wish that the year 2024 would be better than 2023, in which war had returned to the gates of Europe.
Today, as we are about to close 2024, we have no choice but to continue to hope that the coming year will bring some light and hope. The new winds blowing in the United States, with the election of Trump as president, augur major changes in international relations, which we hope will be for the better.
In recent days, moreover, Syria has been added to the already worrying list of concerns on the world map.
On the national scene, the tragedy caused by the DANA, especially in the Valencian Community, still overwhelms our hearts and has highlighted two issues that we had already assumed: first, that the current management model, politicised by partisan clashes, does not fulfil its mission of serving the citizens; and second, that it has been the Spanish people who have taken a step forward and, in an example of generosity and altruism, have taken to the streets to help the victims and those affected by the terrible floods.
From Atalayar, we want to bet on hope for 2025: may the coming year serve to close conflicts, solve problems, reach agreements, unite wills and reach the commitment to build a better future together.
Happy holidays and happy 2025 to all!
