"De cara al mundo", the programme on Onda Madrid directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, analyses every week the key issues in world current affairs.

Casablanca hosted the Morocco-Spain Business Meeting, which highlighted the great investment options offered by the North African country for Spanish companies.

Economic and trade relations between Morocco and Spain are currently expanding and growing. The third Spanish-Moroccan business meeting in five months was held in Casablanca this week and new investment opportunities and projects were analysed in various sectors such as renewable energies, industry, logistics, infrastructure, tourism and training, among others.

The new Moroccan Investment Charter speeds up investment. Meanwhile, the Moroccan Minister of Industry, Ryad Mezzour, highlighted the creation of a unique industrial platform between the two countries that runs from Vigo to Dakhla, in the Sahara. Spanish companies are interested in participating in renewable energy projects and in the new port of Dakhla when the tenders are made public. They are also interested in managing a hotel complex. On Ceuta and Melilla, the minister had the answer to Atalayar ready: everything will have its own solution in its own time.

The programme will also address the latest interesting political developments in the Middle East. The last few weeks have seen a series of events relevant to the present and the immediate regional future. Recep Tayyip Erdogan won re-election as Turkey's president, while Iran reopens its embassy in Saudi Arabia after restoring relations and Israel is watching what is happening with great suspicion, hoping that a visit to Riyadh by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken might shed some light on the situation. Israel is preparing to announce its support for Morocco's proposal for broad autonomy for the Sahara under its sovereignty, a support that has already been expressed in Rabat by the Speaker of the Israeli Parliament. Marta González Isidoro, an expert international analyst, will give the key points on all these issues.

Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine continues. Rescue services continue to find bodies in the Kherson area, affected by the flooding caused by the destruction of the Nova Kajovka dam. Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski visited the area while Russian troops were shelling and preventing rescue efforts. In addition, Ukrainian troops have launched attacks in the region of the Zaporiya nuclear power plant. The Ukrainian counteroffensive has begun... Journalist María Senovilla and Lucas Martín, an expert international analyst, will be in the microphones of "De cara al mundo" to explain the details of the war on Ukrainian territory.

As every Friday, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. They will talk about the war in Ukraine, the political and judicial problems of former President Donald Trump in the United States and the Morocco-Spain Business Meeting in Casablanca.

"De cara al mundo", Friday 9 June from 22:05 to 23:00.
