Cuba, inter-religious dialogue, French National Day, Haiti and immigration in the United States on Atalayar Radio

Atalayar Radio

Tonight on Atalayar Radio, we will be joined by François Musseau, a French journalist who works regularly with numerous French media outlets, to discuss international current affairs.

In addition, Marta Rebolledo, professor and researcher at the Faculty of Communication of the University of Navarra and deputy director of the Master in Political and Corporate Communication, will also be at the microphones from Canada.

Both will talk to us about France's National Day and the situation in Haiti, a country closely linked to the French nation.

The 14th of July was established by law in 1880 to commemorate the storming of the Bastille on the 14th of July 1789, symbolising the end of the Absolute Monarchy. That date is the date marked for the French national celebration.

We will also have the experienced correspondent Alberto Pelaez, from Mexico City, to talk about immigration in the United States and also the troubled Haiti.

Mohammed Dahiri Boughalem, professor at the Faculty of Philology and the Department of Linguistics, Arabic, Hebrew and East Asian Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid, will talk about inter-religious dialogue in the face of exclusionary identitarianism. This was the subject of the course held in El Escorial last week, organised by the Foundation for Islamic Culture and Religious Tolerance (FICRT).

The situation in Cuba will be addressed by Gina Montaner, a writer and journalist born on the Cuban island, who has published a weekly column in El Nuevo Herald for more than 20 years.

Víctor Arribas, as he does every Monday, will present the programme, which will also include the participation of Javier Fernández Arribas.
