Malaga will be the first Spanish city to receive the distinction of city committed to Human Rights and SDGs

The Human Rights Observatory of Spain has awarded the city of Malaga the Distinction of City Committed to Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals, being the first Spanish city to receive this distinction.
The ODHE has considered that the city of Malaga has been accrediting over time an extensive programme of projects and initiatives in the field of Human Rights and SDGs that make it an institutional and public reference in this field.
The awarding of this distinction will take place on 26 April at 12 noon in the Hall of Mirrors of the Malaga City Hall and will be handed over to the Mayor of the city, Mr. Francisco de la Torre by the president of the Observatory, Mr. Mario Rigau.
This distinction makes Malaga a pioneering standard bearer for Human Rights and the SDGs, opening a direct collaboration with the ODHE that will be materialised in future events in the city.
