Iran: from prison to the streets, resistance to religious dictatorship

Iran

The killing machine in Iran continues unabated, with the regime executing 85 more people in the 20 days from April 8 to May 9, including a 19-year-old woman who was 16 at the time of her arrest.

To put an end to the executions and support Iranian women's resistance for freedom, an appeal has been signed by over 200 Italian MPs, in support of the Iranian people's struggle for freedom.

Referring to the appeal signed by the majority of Italian MPs, Maryam Rajavi, leader of the Iranian Resistance, declared “We need a new EU policy towards Iran”.

A hundred Belgian MPs expressed their indignation at the upsurge in executions in Iran. They declared their support for Maryam Rajavi's ten-point plan for a democratic Iran. And called on the EU to put the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on the list of terrorist organizations.

The morality police are back on the streets. Arrests of “poorly veiled” women have intensified. From prison to the streets, the Iranian people continue to resist the mullahs' regime.

According to BBC World Service documents and reports, four agents of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were involved in the arrest and sexual assault of 16-year-old singer Nika Shakarami during the Iranian uprising of 2022.

On Wednesday May 8, the Canadian Parliament voted unanimously (327 in favor and none against) to classify the IRGC as a terrorist organization. The Justice Committee also called for the expulsion of some 700 agents of the Iranian regime operating in Canada.

The second-round electoral boycott, like the first round, was massively followed by 93% of Tehran's voters, according to official figures.

Following the Iranian regime's attack on Israel, Iranian resistance units, scattered across Iran and led by the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), sworn enemies of the Iranian regime, went on the alert.

After six months during which the Iranian regime had hidden behind proxy forces and left them in charge of triggering this conflict, the truth has come out.
This marked a crucial turning point: everyone was able to see that the Iranian regime was behind the war and played a key role in the Middle East conflict.

It will also suffer the consequences. The plan of the clerical dictator, Ali Khamenei, to escape the insurrection and hold on to power, notably through parliamentary elections, has collapsed.

He will undoubtedly become the great strategic loser in this war, and will end up trapped in the conflict.
