In September, cinema dedicated to flamenco at the Three Cultures Foundation: "Fernanda y Bernarda"

The Three Cultures Foundation participates in the Seville Flamenco Biennial with a parallel programme, dedicating Tuesday Cinema Tuesdays in September and 1 October to the screening of films dedicated to the world of flamenco and its great figures.

Thus, on 3 September the documentary "Antonio Mairena, la raíz del cante" was released, inaugurating this calendar of films that will continue with "La Singla", "Fernanda y Bernarda", "Carmen y María. Dos caminos y una mirada", and “Paraíso de cristal”.

A documentary that traces the life and work of Fernanda and Bernarda, two essential flamenco artists: "Our Aretha Franklin and our Bessie Smith. Our Ella Fitzgerald and our Billie Holidays". This film tells us the story of their lives and shows us a work and a human dimension that is difficult to compare.
