Modern Arabic classes 2022/2023: study and learn Arabic with Three Cultures Foundation

Arabic language classes have been one of the hallmarks of the Three Cultures Foundation since its beginnings in 2005. The knowledge of the language represents, beyond any practical purpose, the most effective way to get closer to a culture.
In this new 2022/2023 edition, a new format will be introduced with academic courses from October to June, offering a training itinerary of four courses of nine months' duration each.
There will therefore be four levels, which will be called respectively: Arabic 1, Arabic 2, Arabic 3 and Arabic 4.
The Arabic language taught by the Three Cultures Foundation is Modern Standard Arabic or Fusja, which is the official language of all the countries that currently make up the Arab world, as well as of the United Nations, and its study constitutes the vehicle for communication between speakers of different dialects.
The courses are aimed at anyone interested in the Arab world, whether for personal reasons, work circumstances or who is studying university studies related to international relations, culture or other specialities linked to the Arab world.
The registration form and deadline for enrolment is available on the Three Cultures Foundation website until Friday 23 September 2022.
There will be two weekly classes of 90 minutes each with face-to-face sessions. The timetable can also be consulted on the website.
390 euros per academic year (370 euros with the discount applied for university students, unemployed and retired persons with accreditation). The teacher will provide the necessary materials to follow the course.
Given the characteristics of the Arabic language itself, which is not Indo-European but Semitic, the equivalence of these levels with those of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is only approximate, and is distributed as follows:
ARABIC 1 CEFR level A1
ARABIC 2 Transition from level A1 to A2 of the CEFR
ARABIC 3 Consolidation of CEFRE Level A2
ARABIC 4 CEFR level B1
Certificate: the certificate issued by the Three Cultures Foundation is accredited but not official. The only institution in Spain that issues official Arabic language certificates, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, is the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas.
