Libraries are undergoing a profound change. The Fundación Tres Culturas is aware of this and is working to create a space open to the future. For this reason, in view of the summer period, the shelves are being filled with new fantastic and everyday stories to bring us closer to the social reality of the Mediterranean countries, so diverse and often so unsuspected.

During the summer, up to 4 books can be borrowed and returned from 1 September onwards. And here are some suggestions for the great voices of current Mediterranean literature: the Greek Theodor Kallifatides, who won us over with 'Another life to live' and now presents 'The past is not a dream' (Galaxia Gutenberg). The Palestinian Adania Shibli with her hyperrealist novel 'Un detalle menor' (Hoja de Lata). Three' (Anagrama), the intelligent crime novel by Israeli Dror Mishani. The return to Morocco of one of the most outstanding authors in contemporary French literature, Leila Slimani, with 'El país de los otros' (Cabaret Voltaire). One of the great heirs to European humanism, the tireless traveller Mauricio Wiesenthal, with 'La hispanibundia: retrato español de familia' (Acantilado). One of today's most powerful philosophers, the Croatian Srećko Horvat with his 'Poesía del futuro' (Paidós). Or the Spanish artist Paula Bonet with 'La anguila' (Anagrama).

As a graphic novel comes the proposition of 'Diary of Italy' (Impedimenta) by David B. Also fascinating are the illustrated albums by the most renowned author of current Israeli literature, David Grossman, entitled 'El abrazo y La princesa del sol' (Sexto Piso). All accompanied by the music of Ana Alcaide and Oum.
