Since exhibiting her work in Beijing during the 2008 Olympic Games, the Madrid-based painter has exhibited her creations in China almost every year.

It is therefore not surprising that she has chosen the Exhibition Hall of the Usera Municipal Council to show her work again in the Spanish capital; after all, it is the neighbourhood with the largest concentration of Chinese people in Madrid.

With this exhibition, Francisca Blázquez has now had more than 400 solo and group exhibitions in 17 countries and three continents, with many of her works hanging in museums and institutions such as the Newman Foundation in Chicago, the Marugame Hirai in Japan, the Artistic Circle of Venice, the Egyptian Institute of Islamic Studies, the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and the headquarters of 200 Swiss companies and banks.

China and its ancestral sense of harmony as a fundamental pillar of life has a special connection with this artist who, in addition to her paintings, delves into other fields such as sculpture, jewellery design, digital animation, video creation and experimental dance.

Since inventing her art and naming it Dimensionalism in 1998, Francisca Blázquez has reflected in her works her explorations into cosmic, etheric, atmic, spiritual and crystallographic research, without forgetting the ‘main dimension of love’. Consequently, the result, as she herself explains to Atalayar, is ‘a work that travels through different dimensions, flowing from the inside out, from top to bottom, seeking vibrational intensity’.

Her paintings are, in effect, energetic compositions, which are ultimately spiritual channelings through meditation. She captures vibrations and energies that interact with the person who contemplates them. And this, in her own opinion, benefits her in all aspects: healing, spirituality, gifts, achievements, wealth, abundance, love, transcendence... Her recreation of the seven cosmic rays is evident, exhibiting all the power of the platinum light that is reaching the earth from the centre of the galaxy. The undeniable assimilation of Eastern wisdom in his way of expressing enlightenment and its essential circumstances is therefore evident: ‘I believe,’ he says, ‘that everything that exists is part of an intelligent whole, which has compatible and interconnected functions.’ And he emphasises that ‘although we do not know the universe in detail, in reality everything is there, outside and inside, in us and in the whole.’

From this perspective, Blázquez's painting can be considered part of that whole, a fragment of the cosmos, but one that represents the universal cosmos in its entirety, macro and micro forces and energies in action. His striking aesthetics also contribute to the interactivity of his art, helping to transform and improve both the people and the environments in which it is installed.

This is how she connects with existence from a multidimensional point of view in all orders.

An active collaborator with the Peace and Cooperation Foundation, she believes that her presence and that of her works in all areas where such aspirations are sought is her way of contributing with her art to a better world, all the more so as the storm clouds of current geopolitics need renewed colours to ward off the runaway horses of the Apocalypse.
