The Three Cultures Foundation

The Three Cultures Foundation, with the collaboration of the Cartaya municipal public library, has set up the reading club "Three with books in movement" in this town in Huelva to work on the work "Camus. Entre justicia y madre", published by Norma Editorial, by José Lenzini and Laurent Gnoni.

"Three with books", the Foundation's reading club project, transfers its reading experience to this municipality in the province of Huelva, which has a diverse and plural population. A city founded by the Phoenicians, worked by the Romans and inhabited by Christians and Muslims that has perfectly embodied the confluence of Mediterranean cultures.

The selected graphic novel, "Camus. Entre justicia y madre", is the work of the renowned Camus expert José Lenzini, who offers us a sincere biography of the French author, illustrated by Laurent Gnoni with flat drawings and sunny tones that perfectly recreate the atmosphere of the Mediterranean coast.

This literary journey will be accompanied by a virtual session with an editor from Norma Editorial, who will guide us through the wonderful creative process of comics.

This activity is aimed at students from IES Rafael Reyes and IES Mapi Valle, with the aim of enriching their educational experience. However, all projects are open to all citizens, so anyone interested can contact us by email at biblioteca@tresculturas.org.

This proposal is part of the activities dedicated to books during the month of April.
