Iberdrola Australia, Iberdrola's international business in Australia, has collaborated in the ‘Gippsland Science and Engineering Challenge’ conference held in Sale, Victoria.

The team working on the development of the future Aurora offshore wind farm, with a capacity of up to 3 GW, took part in this event with students to promote technical careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Iberdrola Australia thus reaffirms its commitment to the local community and the development of technical skills among young people.

The event, which is part of a national initiative by the University of Newcastle, brought together more than 150 students from six primary and secondary schools in the region.

The young people took part in practical challenges in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), including bridge building, city energy management and wind turbine design.
