The US company Quanta Services visits Iberdrola's Hub in Bilbao

A group of representatives from the US company Quanta Services has recently visited Iberdrola's facilities in Spain. One of the most important visits was to the Basque company's Global Smart Grids Innovation Hub in Bilbao. The GSGIH is Iberdrola's global headquarters for innovation in smart grids.
During the visit, the representatives of Quanta Services were accompanied by the heads of Iberdrola's Global Purchasing Department and also those of Avangrid, the US subsidiary of the Iberdrola group.
They were thus able to learn first-hand about the smart grid innovation projects being developed at Iberdrola's Hub in the Biscayan capital in order to make further progress in decarbonisation. In this regard, electricity grids have a fundamental role to play in driving the energy transition.
The US company Quanta Services builds power lines and installs fibre optics, among others, on the American continent.
