Hammouchi appoints new officials in several Moroccan cities

Morocco's Director General of National Security, Abdellatif Hammouchi, has approved a new series of appointments to senior positions in a dozen Moroccan cities and provinces, as reported by Le Matin.

In this way, Hammouchi is pursuing his strategy of promoting and enhancing the skills of young people by allowing them to take on responsibilities within the Kingdom's main security institution. The recent appointments announced by the DGSN relate to positions of responsibility in the National Security services in Rabat, Salé, Casablanca, Bouznika, Témara, Safi, Khémisset, Oujda, Guercif, Targuist, El Aroui and Beni Nsar.
These include the appointment of the interim head of the provincial police district of Khemisset, the appointment of a new head of the administrative investigations and complaints processing division - a body registered with the General Inspectorate -, the appointment of a police commissioner in Bouznika, as well as the appointment of five police district officers in Oujda, Guercif, Témara, Rabat and El Aroui.
These appointments also include an interim head of the Targuist police station, a head of the general intelligence brigade in Bouarfa, a head of the border police brigade in Jorf Lasfar, a head of the urban corps at El Aroui airport, a head of the traffic brigade in Beni Nsar, and two officers in charge of the mobile police group and one of the units in charge of protecting sensitive installations in Rabat.

These appointments are based on the current dynamics of National Security, which aims to increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of human resources by ensuring alternation in the assumption of responsibilities and entrusting the operational management of police services to highly trained and qualified individuals capable of implementing work strategies aimed at reinforcing the security of the country's citizens.
