The institution celebrates the photographic exhibition 'Africa yesterday, today and tomorrow'

The Centre Euro Africa: a decade highlighting the contributions of the African continent

Centre Euro África

On 16 April 2011, the Centre Euro Africa began its activities with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the independence of 17 African countries with the slogan 'Africa yesterday, today and tomorrow' at Montjuic Castle. From that day until today, it has continued with the same enthusiasm, organising meetings, days of reflection and seminars with the aim of fulfilling the centre's mission, which is to change the way we look at Africa, highlighting the contribution that this continent has made to humanity.

The Euro-Africa Centre weaves networks with institutions and organisations in Barcelona, Africa and other European cities such as Paris, Lisbon, Oporto and Lille, as well as with different sectors of society.

During this time, the Centre Euro Africa has had achievements and challenges and it is thanks to the support of partners, collaborators and volunteers during the last decade.

To celebrate this, the Centre Euro Africa has organised a photographic exhibition that captures some moments of its history and invites everyone who wants to visit the exhibition and participate in the various activities.

The event will be held at the Abissinia Restaurant from Wednesday to Monday from 13:00 to 21:00 until 20 January 2022.
