The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity coordinates new shipment of humanitarian aid to Gaza

Morocco has once again mobilised in support of the Palestinian people. On the direct instructions of King Mohammed VI, the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity has organised a new shipment of urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
The shipment, weighing around 100 tonnes, consists of basic products: food especially for children and infants, medicines and surgical equipment. The aid will be transported by air and distributed directly to the civilian population, according to a statement issued on Monday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aim is clear: to reach those most in need quickly and without intermediaries.
Sanae Dardikh, the foundation's communications director, explained that this new operation is a sustained effort driven by the monarch himself in his capacity as chairman of the Al-Quds Committee. ‘Morocco's mobilisation continues,’ she said. ‘Solidarity with Palestine is not only political, it is human and constant,’ she added.

The situation in the Gaza Strip is critical. Hunger and a lack of essential medical supplies have left tens of thousands of people in a situation of critical insecurity and vulnerability. In this context, the aid sent from Morocco is intended to be a tangible response to an immediate need.
In recent years, the Mohamed V Foundation for Solidarity has led numerous humanitarian campaigns both inside and outside the country. Its logistical capacity and experience enable it to carry out this type of operation efficiently and quickly.
In Rabat, the authorities insist that this action is part of a coherent vision. It is not just a one-off gesture, but a course of action that seeks to combine diplomacy with solidarity. The monarch has made the Palestinian cause a state priority, both politically and humanitarily.

Morocco, which has a complex but active relationship with the parties involved in the conflict, is committed to keeping channels open while maintaining its support for the Palestinian people through concrete actions. This new humanitarian shipment is yet another example of this balance between diplomacy and social commitment.
The flight carrying the humanitarian aid will depart in the next few hours and is expected to arrive at its destination shortly. According to diplomatic sources, every effort is being made to ensure that the delivery is made quickly and safely, without interference.
