Film Tuesdays in May: Collaboration with the Culture with Pride Festival

To mark Cultural Diversity Day, the Three Cultures Foundation is dedicating the month of May to this theme, which defines its objectives, and continuing its tradition of collaborating with the most emblematic film festivals.
We will have award-winning screenings as part of the Culture with Pride Festival (FOC), such as Simone Sojo's short film ‘Las Pardas’ and Laura Hojman's documentary ‘Un hombre libre’, which will premiere on Tuesday, 20 May at 8:30 p.m., in collaboration with the Culture with Pride Festival.
Las Pardas
Simone Sojo | Spain | 2024 | 15 min.
Synopsis: A group of transvestite friends sneak into the municipal swimming pool every night to escape the summer heat. The darkness embraces them and the vegetation protects them from the gaze of the world. But tonight is different. The conversations do not satisfy them and danger lurks from the bushes to the bottom of the pool, and almost without realising it, the light and the swimmers surprise them.
Un Hombre Libre
Laura Hojman | Spain | 2024| 88 min.
Synopsis: This documentary immerses us in the life of Agustín Gómez Arcos, an author who achieved success on the French literary scene in the 1970s, while in Spain his name remained in the shadows.
Seville Film Festival 2024: Nominated for the Giraldillo de Oro Award for Best Film.
