Companies established in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region are fully satisfied

The Regional Investment Centre of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region (CRI-TTA) has presented a major report on investors' perceptions of the business and business climate in the area, carried out in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which shows that 92% of the companies surveyed are satisfied with their establishment in this growing region of Morocco.
Key factors behind this satisfaction include the quality of life, the strategic geographical location, the maturity of the regional investment ecosystem, modern infrastructure, the availability of skills and the competitive cost of factors of production.
In addition, 82% of investors consider the current situation of their companies to be satisfactory, with promising growth prospects. The survey also reveals that all the companies surveyed maintain a close relationship with the Tangiers-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Investment Centre and express their full satisfaction in this respect. They praise the ease of contact with the CRI-TTA teams and praise the efforts made to promote the region.
The CRI-TTA's services for investment-related administrative procedures are highly appreciated. These results highlight the vital role played by the CRI-TTA in local economic development.
The work of the entity in contributing to the growth and success of companies in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region is highlighted by its absolute dedication to maintaining its commitment to partners and investors.

90% of the companies surveyed also mentioned their total satisfaction with the existing relationship with the CRI-TTA, due to the great availability of the entity to favour investment and the movement of economic flows to promote this flourishing area. In fact, 91% of these companies indicated that they were very happy with the support given by the Regional Investment Centre to develop their business activity in the area.
Companies indicated that the main positive elements to highlight in the support provided by the CRI-TTA are the promotion of investment opportunities, proactive support for the development of their company's ecosystem, pre-investment assistance, provision of services related to the start-up of their company, assistance and support in obtaining investment incentives, and personalisation and ease of contact with their company and proactive contact with the company with a convincing value proposition explaining why their company should invest in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
Another revealing fact is that 100% of the companies surveyed indicated that they were satisfied with the environmental impact assessment procedure and also with the assistance, access to state incentives and subsidies related to the investment process offered by the CRI.

In relation to the perception of the business climate in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, the view of companies and investors is almost unbeatable. 94% of the companies surveyed consider that the policies implemented by regional actors to improve the attractiveness of the region are effective and relevant.
In terms of the perception of the effectiveness of state efforts to improve the attractiveness of the region, the most relevant aspects in terms of what Morocco offers in this area are the solid fiscal and legal framework with a specific tax regime, the support and incentives through grants, funds or assistance, the infrastructure and logistics provided through ports, highways, airports and zones of economic and industrial activity, and the academic and business training provided to promote economic activity.
Also of note, all the stakeholders interviewed in the survey have a very good and close relationship with the CRI of Tangiers-Tetouan-Al Hoceima. All the companies surveyed are aware of the crucial and central role of the LRC in the development of investments in the region. The CRI is considered a pivot of local economic development, as it is in charge of several tasks, such as the promotion of the territory, support to investors and mediation between stakeholders.

Several important points of contact between stakeholders and the CRI-TTA have been mentioned, involving information exchange, support for business start-ups and ongoing development projects or on-site monitoring.
The satisfaction of the vast majority of companies located in the Tangiers-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region is therefore total, as attested to by the companies surveyed in the report on investors' perceptions of the business and entrepreneurial climate in the area.
