Minsait, awarded by Fundación MAPFRE, Fundación Gmp, Plena Inclusión Madrid and Microsoft

Minsait, an Indra company, has been awarded during the recent Hackathon Soy Capaz IA inclusiva, coordinated by Microsoft for Fundación MAPFRE, Plena Inclusión Madrid and Fundación Gmp, for its ability to put technology and artificial intelligence at the service of inclusion and the reduction of the digital divide.
The company received the Guardians of Innovation and Horizon Inclusive Awards during this meeting, recognitions that highlighted Minsait's commitment to innovation and functional diversity, building technological solutions based on AI that truly improve the lives of people with functional diversity. Minsait's proposal was also considered the project that best met the needs of the different groups and was awarded by the votes of all the people with intellectual disabilities belonging to Plena Inclusión Madrid who participated in the hackathon.
In this sense, the project presented by Minsait, under the title "Palzy. More than technology, digital empathy", is an innovative application equipped with artificial intelligence that has been designed to accompany and assist people with functional diversities in their daily lives. Palzy not only offers a personalised and accessible agenda, but also provides recommendations adapted to the users' tastes in areas such as series, food, music, checklists of objects when leaving home, personalised treatments or other areas that support persons or family members can configure.
In addition, the application helps with personalised treatments and has a gamification feature that allows users to win medals through daily mini-challenges, encouraging healthy habits and fun activities. One of the most outstanding functionalities of Palzy is its ability to alert or inform others about the activity generated by users, providing effective and timely monitoring of their needs and well-being.
Among Palzy's main advantages are its capacity to provide users with greater independence and generate a special connection with the system, through personalised coaching (based on AI), which allows recommendations and guidelines to be given in a system that constantly adapts to the diverse needs of its consumers.
In addition, Minsait's proposal, presented at the meeting by the company's Financial Services area, has been carried out using a methodology defined as "People Center Design", based on a highly people-oriented approach.
